A TALE OF TWO MEETINGS

A very busy few days awaits the BRSCC Midland Centre this weekend, with their staff and marshals covering two meetings – the Blancpain Endurance Series on the Silverstone GP circuit and the Britcar International Raceday at Rockingham tomorrow.

The Blancpain Series is the world’s best supported GT3 racing series with grids averaging 54 entries and boasting some of the most iconic automotive brands including Aston-Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes, Nissan and Porsche.

In addition to the Blancpain Endurance Series action, there will also be a diverse support package including the spectacular Auto GP single seater series. Up and coming Brit, Luciano Bacheta will be aiming for another win after his recent success in Marrakesh but will face some stiff competition from some of Europe’s best young talents and experienced campaigners like ex F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan.

Further entertainment is guaranteed from a full grid of Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo supercars and the stars of tomorrow get their chance to shine in the Formula Renault North European series.

Meanwhile over at Rockingham, the Britcar Internationnal Raceday features two races on the International Super Sportscar Long Circuit. First up is the Production Sports Cup, which will be contested over ninety minutes and then the MSA British Endurance Championship, which will run over three hours.

The Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship is the flagship championship of the Britcar family and caters for out and out GT cars from Le Mans levels of performance such as Porsche 911 RSR's and Ferrari GT2's down to GT4 cars such as Aston Martin GT4 and Ginetta G50's.
