ALLAN SIMONSEN 1978 – 2013

In common with the whole motorsport community, the BRSCC were greatly saddened to learn of the death of Danish driver Allan Simonsen today, while racing at the Le Mans 24-hrs.
Allan had been a regular competitor in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship as well as racing in many GT series around the world.
BRSCC Chairman Bernard Cottrell, who knew Allan well said, "This really is tragic news. Allan was a very competitive but popular driver. I'm sure everyone connected with the BRSCC would like to join me in offering sincerest sympathies to Allan's family."
