AVON RENEWS KENT FF TYRE CONTRACT

The BRSCC has announced that it has agreed a three year deal with Avon Tyres for the Cooper Tire owned company to continue to supply the Club’s Kent engined Formula Ford Championships.

The contract encompasses the 2011, 2012 and 2013 seasons and covers the Club’s two regional Formula Ford 1600 series – the Northern and Southern Championships, as well as the Kent engined section of the annual Formula Ford Festival.

Announcing the deal BRSCC Chairman Bernard Cottrell said, “I’m delighted that Avon is onboard again and that next season our competitors will benefit from the cost of a set of tyres being pegged at under £400. The BRSCC has always enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Avon and we look forward to building on that in the future.”
