Snetterton 300 Circuit
18 April 2026 - 19 April 2026
The new season is ready to ignite! The British Racing & Sports Car Club marks its 2026 return to Norfolk with the AIRTEC Motorsport Snetterton Season Opener. With long-term partners AIRTEC Motorsport once again headline-sponsoring the event, the high-speed Snetterton 300 circuit provides the perfect venue to put 2026’s revised grids to the test across a weekend of high-intensity competition.
After months of anticipation, the long Norfolk straights and technical infield will come alive on 11–12 April with a jam-packed schedule featuring a superb variety of championships, serving up everything from high-speed slipstreaming battles to intense one-make competition.
At the forefront of the action, the AIRTEC Motorsport Fiesta ST240 Championship headlines the weekend, bringing high-intensity touring car-style thrills to the 300 circuit. These turbocharged Fiestas are built for maximum attack, and on Snetterton’s long straights, the battle for the lead is set to be a slipstreaming masterclass from start to finish.
Joining them is the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship, which is set to steal the show with an incredible grid of 30 cars. Watching a massive field of the UK’s most talented young drivers go wheel-to-wheel through Riches and Wilson is guaranteed to provide non-stop drama and a glimpse into the future of British motorsport as they kick off their 2026 campaigns in style.
The 2026 season also marks the beginning of an exciting new era for the club, as we welcome the JMRG Caterham Graduates Championship to the BRSCC portfolio. Making their highly anticipated debut with us, these lightweight legends are famous for producing some of the closest racing in the country. With multiple classes on track, expect an intricate dance of car control and tactical overtaking through the technical infield sections.
Sharing the “new for 2026” spotlight is the Classic 2CV Racing Club. These iconic, leaning French classics are a brand-new addition to the BRSCC calendar and are a firm fan favorite. Known for their incredible momentum-based racing, the 2CVs will prove that you don’t need hundreds of horsepower to deliver a classic motor race, especially when they are tucked nose-to-tail across the Bentley Straight.
For those who love the world’s most popular roadster, the Clapham North MOT Mazda MX-5 SuperCup returns to provide elite-level Mazda racing. With professional teams and top-tier drivers all vying for fractions of a second, the SuperCup is always a highlight of any BRSCC weekend, offering some of the most polished and intense sprint racing on the schedule.
The Mazda feast continues with the AD Modular Mazda MX-5 Championship, where the Mk1 variant of the legendary roadster remains a staple of club racing excellence. Known for producing massive grids and door-to-door action, these cars are perfectly suited to Snetterton’s layout, ensuring that every corner is a potential overtaking opportunity.
For those looking for a high-speed sprint format, the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Clubman Championship provides its signature double-header action. Aimed at competitors who want the thrills of Mk1 racing in a more condensed format, the Clubman grid never fails to deliver frantic, close-quarter battles that keep the crowds on the edge of their seats.
Rounding out the diverse weekend is the SW Motorsports ClubSport Trophy, the UK’s most popular series for production-based race cars. Featuring a huge variety of makes and models across multiple performance classes, this 45-minute pit-stop race brings a dash of endurance strategy to the sprint-heavy weekend, where traffic management and consistency are the keys to victory.
With a massive entry list, two major debutant categories, and something for every kind of racing fan, Snetterton is the perfect place to kick off what promises to be a sensational 2026 season.
