BRSCC AND RUNYOURFLEET AGREE TWO YEAR SAFETY / COURSE CAR SUPPLY PARTNERSHIP
The BRSCC are delighted to announce a two-year partnership with leading UK vehicle fleet management company runyourfleet to supply a Safety / Course Car for use by the club.
Having historically relied on the provision of course cars and safety cars by the race circuits, the BRSCC recently made a decision that the club should take ownership of this key part of our race meetings by way of obtaining a suitable car for these purposes. Through investigating various options and solutions, Trevor Parry, BRSCC Midland Centre Chairman introduced the club to Steve Whitmarsh, Managing Director of Multifleet Vehicle Management Ltd, (of which runyourfleet is a trading name). runyourfleet is a provider of fleet management services for any size of business. Their services include fleet management, fleet funding, breakdown cover, vehicle lease and rental packages, all of which are supported by a unique cloud-based fleet management platform.
Having already recognised the benefits of the runyourfleet brand being involved in motorsport through the company’s sponsorship of elite racer and multiple Le Mans winning driver Darren Turner, Steve Whitmarsh was keen to understand from Trevor how the BRSCC and runyourfleet could work together to the benefit of both parties. The result of these discussions, is an exciting commercial agreement that sees runyourfleet providing a beautiful white Jaguar XF Sportbrake in return for a two year package of brand visibility and marketing support from the BRSCC.
The support package offered to runyourfleet by the BRSCC includes physical branding on the Jaguar XF, website brand visibility, TV / Livestream branding, runyourfleet association and branding on the CityCar Cup Championship, as well as various other initiatives and corporate support. The stunning Jaguar XF Sportbrake will carry a unique livery and will soon become familiar at numerous BRSCC race meetings whilst being used for course car and safety car duties.
Commenting on this new agreement, BRSCC Chairman Peter Daly said, “I’m delighted that through the introduction of Steve Whitmarsh to the club by Trevor, we’ve been able to work together to quickly find such a unique solution to the needs of the club, and importantly one that will deliver a substantial support package to runyourfleet. The BRSCC are very well positioned in the motorsport market to offer visibility and value to all of our partners, and as both we and runyourfleet are progressive and ambitious organisations, this new partnership is one that I’m sure will deliver great mutual benefits.”
Responding on behalf of runyourfleet, Managing Director Steve Whitmarsh said, “runyourfleet are pleased to announce a wide ranging partnership programme with the BRSCC. The BRSCC has a rich history in domestic motorsport, running and assisting a wide range of championships – catering for all tastes and budgets from grass roots to senior formulas. The BRSCC’s unending commitment to inclusivity at all levels demonstrates a set of values well matched to our own, and we are delighted to be associated with such a well-regarded organisation. Safety is of the utmost importance – whether on the road or the track, and we were keen to help the BRSCC continue the excellent work they do in keeping competitors and spectators safe with the provision of a new safety car”
