BRSCC Announces New Agreement with Goodyear to Support 2025 Fiesta Junior Scholarship
The BRSCC is excited to announce a new agreement with Goodyear to support the 2025 Fiesta Junior Scholarship, with the tyre company providing a fully branded Goodyear race car for the scholarship winner in the 2025 BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship. This expanded support reinforces Goodyear’s long-standing commitment to developing young motorsport talent and offering aspiring drivers a clear pathway into competitive racing.
Lewis Islin, the winner of the 2025 Fiesta Junior Scholarship, will race in a Goodyear-branded Mk7 Fiesta Junior car, with Goodyear also sponsoring the race tyres. This partnership ensures Lewis benefits from the same high-performance equipment as his competitors, ensuring Lewis will be fully supported in his pursuit of success in the ultra-competitive Fiesta Junior Championship. Lewis’s first race in the Goodyear-branded car will take place at Snetterton on 5-6 April 2025.

“Goodyear has always been passionate about supporting junior motorsport and extending that support to the Fiesta Junior Scholarship is a natural next step for us,” said Mickey Butler, Goodyear UK Racing Manager. “By providing a Goodyear-branded race car along with our tyre support, we aim to help develop the next generation of drivers while also showcasing our long-term commitment to the motorsport community. The Fiesta Junior Scholarship offers a credible and competitive environment for young drivers, and we’re thrilled to play a part in it.”
Paul McErlean, BRSCC Chief Operating Officer, expressed his excitement about Goodyear’s continued involvement: “It’s fantastic to see Goodyear extend their support to the Fiesta Junior Scholarship. The fully branded Goodyear car provides a unique and invaluable opportunity for Lewis, and Goodyear’s backing plays a crucial role in his development. We’re proud to partner with a brand that shares our commitment to junior motorsport.”
In addition to the Goodyear-branded car, Lewis’s journey will be supported by 20Ten Racing, who will manage the race car throughout the season. With expert mentorship from BTCC star Josh Cook, who brings invaluable experience and insights, Lewis will have the support needed to progress in the championship.

The Fiesta Junior Scholarship offers one of the most comprehensive and valuable prize packages in UK motorsport, providing Lewis with a funded race season, race tyres, team support, and valuable development opportunities in the Fiesta Junior Championship.
