BRSCC APPOINTED ORGANISERS OF BRITISH SUPERKART CHAMPIONSHIP & GRAND PRIX BY MOTORSPORT UK

The British Racing & Sports Car Club are delighted to confirm that Motorsport UK have appointed the BRSCC as organising club to host their British Superkart Championship and British Superkart Grand Prix. 

The 3-event 2021 British Superkart Championship season will commence at Cadwell Park on 10th April, before heading to Mallory Park on 22nd May, followed by their championship season finale on 10th/11th July at Anglesey International.  

The club will then host the British Superkart Grand Prix event at Donington Park Circuit on 25th September.  

Commenting on behalf of the BRSCC, Chief Operating Officer Paul McErlean said, “We are delighted and privileged to have been given the opportunity by Motorsport UK and Superkarting UK to assist in the exciting future development of the British Superkart Championship. We also look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Superkarting UK Race Director Terry Batemen, and to provide our highest level of support and expertise to ensure the strongest future for long circuit karting in the UK”. 

British Superkarting Race Director Terry Bateman added, “Having already been delighted by the involvement, support and input provided by Motorsport UK, I am equally happy that we have been able to secure the additional support of the BRSCC as our organising club for the British Superkart Championship. I’ve worked closely with the BRSCC for the past few years, and I believe that they fully understand what is needed to help push the British Superkart Championship to the next levels. The future growth and development of the championship is what drives me personally, and with both Motorsport UK and the BRSCC on board, our competitors and teams can look forward to 2021 and beyond with great enthusiasm”.
