BRSCC APPOINTS CHARLOTTE WHITE AS EVENT OPERATIONS MANAGER

The BRSCC is delighted to announce the appointment of Charlotte White to the role of Event Operations Manager. Having been involved with the club for a number of years in various championship coordinator and support roles, Charlotte had already become a much-valued member of the BRSCC’s infrastructure, and her appointment to this new full-time position will see her further developing her motorsport industry career as a key member of the club’s Head Office team.

Starting in mid-September, Charlotte’s role will see her taking responsibility for all aspects of the BRSCC’s Event Operations department, where she will be tasked with day to day running of the department as well as overseeing and introducing further improvements and refinements where she feels they may be required. Alongside this role, Charlotte will continue her involvement in coordinating BRSCC championships and race series.

Prior to joining the BRSCC with a Degree (BSc (Hons) in Motorsport Management from UWTSD Swansea, and previous employment roles with the Motorsport Industry Association, Rockingham Motor Speedway, and Composites UK, Charlotte had already developed a strong foundation for a long and successful career in the motorsport industry, and her acceptance of her new BRSCC management position further enhances her value to the sport, the industry and the club.

Commenting on Charlotte’s appointment, BRSCC Chief Operating Officer Paul McErlean said, “Having followed her development within the club over the past few years, I am personally delighted that Charlotte has now agreed to take on this new role with the BRSCC. Our Event Operations Department oversees all of the most important aspects that are required to successfully run our events, and we feel privileged that Charlotte has agreed to join us with a view to improving and enhancing these key operations further”.

On accepting her new appointment, Charlotte said, “Having been involved in the motorsport industry for most of my adult life, and after being part of the BRSCC’s event and coordinating team for a number of years, it was a fairly straightforward decision to make when I was offered this new position by the BRSCC. Through my previous roles with the club I already know all of my future colleagues, and I can’t wait to join them to help deliver our shared goal of ensuring our race events are as efficient and enjoyable as possible”.
