BRSCC APPOINTS GREG GRAHAM TO FORMULAE DEVELOPMENT ROLE
The British Racing & Sports Car Club board of directors along with BRSCC Chief Operating Officer Paul McErlean are delighted to announce that Greg Graham has been appointed to a Formulae Development role within the club.
This role will see Greg taking responsibility for the development of new BRSCC race series and championships, help maintain and develop race series already held within the BRSCC portfolio, and also to identify and evaluate other existing race series that may wish to join the BRSCC to further develop their market visibility and customer offering.
As well as still being involved in a consultancy capacity with various popular tyre brands, Greg has had a long and successful personal career working in high level commercial and marketing positions within the global tyre industry. He also has a history of utilising motorsport as product development platforms and tyre brand marketing tools. Alongside his many years of involvement in the BMW Compact Cup Championship, Greg also has direct experience of conceptualising, developing and introducing race series within the BRSCC, most recently with the successful launches of both the BRSCC ClubSport Trophy and the CityCar Cup race series.
Paul McErlean commenting on this development said “Having worked closely with Greg on various projects over many years, he is already a valued and trusted member of my team. He has a well-proven record of spotting market opportunities as well as a keen eye for the commercial and personal details that allow race series to flourish. I believe he is ideally suited to this Formulae Development role, and his input will certainly help advance the continued growth of the club.”
Greg Graham further commented “Club motorsport is a lifelong passion of mine, whether competing in, coordinating, managing or developing race series. I believe I have a good understanding of the industry and of the personal and commercial complexities that make it all work. I greatly enjoy bringing new ideas to the market and seeing them come to fruition, so I’m really looking forward to working even more closely with the BRSCC team to help push the club to the forefront of the UK marketplace.”
