The British Racing & Sports Car Club is delighted to announce a new partnership with AMOC Racing, which will see the BRSCC deliver AMOC’s race meeting programme for the 2021 season and beyond.

Having celebrated its 85th anniversary in 2020, the Aston Martin Owners Club is a prestigious organisation with a rich history, and on behalf of their members have been organising and running race events since 1950. As well as hosting racing cars from the iconic Aston Martin marque with whom they share their identity, within the AMOC Racing multi-series portfolio, the Club caters for a wide and varied list of makes, models and ages of vehicles.

The historic portion of AMOC Racing’s series consists of the Pre-War Team Challenge for beautiful classic racing machines including Bentleys and Lagondas, along with the Jack Fairman Cup hosting 1950s sports and GT cars, and the Innes Ireland Cup for pre-1966 GT and touring cars. Within their more contemporary race series, AMOC Intermarque caters for high-performance race cars built between 1970 to 1995, with the GT Challenge for post-1996 GT and sports cars, and finally the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge which is dedicated to GT4 and N24 specification Aston Martin Vantage race cars.

Commenting on welcoming AMOC Racing into the BRSCC formulae portfolio, BRSCC Chairman Peter Daly said, “Through significant ongoing investment and development within the BRSCC, we believe that our club have demonstrated to the UK race industry our clear desire to position ourselves as a market leader within our field. To be able to secure a partnership with such a prestigious organisation as AMOC Racing for the 2021 season and beyond, is yet another marker which proves how serious we are about developing long term relationships with key partners.

From our discussions with AMOC Racing management, it was abundantly clear that they are strongly focused on delivering only the very best racing experiences to their members, and it is hugely gratifying that they have entrusted the BRSCC with assisting them in delivering just that. We look forward to a great season of racing in 2021, and I have absolutely no doubt that the addition of AMOC Racing’s portfolio will further enhance the quality of our race events for competitors and spectators alike”.

In response, Peter Snowdon, AMOC Racing’s Competition Director said, “The BRSCC are one of the most respected and influential organising clubs in the UK. They have a long history of delivering the highest quality events on some of the finest circuits in the UK and Europe, with formulae covering British GT, British F4, National Formula Ford, Classic Formula Ford, Saloon & Production Cars & Sports Cars to name a few.

AMOC would like to take this opportunity to thank BRSCC Chairman Peter Daly, Chief Operating Officer Paul McErlean and their team for their proactive and innovative approach in putting this deal together. This is an exciting new venture for both organisations and we look forward to seeing all of our racing members on track next season”.

The 2021 AMOC racing season is set to take place over five weekends from May through to October, with events scheduled for Donington Park, Snetterton, Mallory Park, Silverstone and Brands Hatch.
