BRSCC & MAXIMUM MOTORSPORT AGREE TCR SUBLICENCE

TCR UK Championship Promoter Stewart Lines commented on the new agreement between both organisations.

“With over 70 TCR cars in the UK, it’s clear that the TCR concept has grown since it arrived in 2018. This growing market provides UK competitors with the chance to drive a TCR Touring Car in both Sprint and Endurance formats.”

“Today, we welcome the new sub-licence agreement with the BRSCC. Our aim is to work with all parties who own TCR cars to give them a legal platform to operate in and be a part of the TCR family moving forward. This new agreement is the next step in achieving this important goal.”

BRSCC Chief Operating Officer Paul McErlean also commented on the new agreement.

“We’re really pleased that we’ve been able to come to this agreement with Maximum Motorsport, and we look forward to hearing from TCR car owners and teams.”

“Our new-for-2025 Pro Sports Sprint series is designed to cater for higher powered tin top machinery as well as factory-built race cars, and it gives a great opportunity for TCR cars to join the grid.”

The inaugural triple header of Pro Sports Sprint races are scheduled to take place on the iconic Silverstone Grand Prix circuit on 15th/16th March. The format of the Silverstone race weekend delivers a 20-minute qualifying session on Saturday morning and a 20-minute race on Saturday afternoon, these followed by another two 20-minute races on the Sunday.

That’s 80 minutes of track time on the full Grand Prix circuit, and all this for an entry fee of only £565.00. Another great bonus is that series registration is absolutely FREE and a dedicated Pro Sports Sprint membership is just £30.
