CITYCAR INV. CLASS FOR SILVERSTONE 24HR

Ahead of the BRSCC’s Silverstone 24 Hour event at Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit on 2nd-4th May, the Club is delighted to announce an invitation to all CityCar Cup teams, race car owners and drivers to join this fantastic event and to compete within a dedicated CityCar Cup class.

This is the first time that CityCar Cup cars and teams have been given the opportunity to take part in an event that has historically been open only to C1 Racing Club endurance class cars, and it will give a fantastic and exciting new experience for those who have concentrated on shorter sprint races since the inception of CityCar Cup a few seasons ago.

The Silverstone 24H race will be a non-championship stand-alone event for CityCar Cup cars and teams, and CityCar Cup cars will have to be remain compliant with 2025 CityCar Cup technical regulations.

Detailed regulations for the event are due to be published soon, however all CityCar Cup cars will be subject to the same “Sporting Regulations” as other classes. This means, the same rules as far as refuelling, pit stops, on-track behaviour, driver changes, penalties and the like.

The Club has already received numerous enquiries from the CityCar Cup community about racing their cars in the Silverstone 24H event, and this open invitation will allow teams and drivers to start preparing their cars and themselves for what is going to be one of 2025’s biggest and best motorsport experiences!
