DAX IS DOING IT FOR CHARITY

CATEGORIES:

Formula Jedi veteran Dax Ward and his team members will be doing their bit for charity over the weekend to raise funds for the BBC Children in Need campaign.

The Southampton based driver will again be competing in a 24 hour F1 STYLE computer simulation against 9 other teams in an Audi R8 Le mans prototype. The circuit of choice is Laguna Seca in California – not a bad place to spend a ‘virtual’ weekend!

Dax’s team finished 3rd in 2008 and raised £900 for the good causes supported by the annual BBC fund raising event. The Jedi racer they will be trying to go one better this year both in terms of finishing position and the monies raised.

If you would like to support Dax and of course the BBC Children in Need campaign then you can make a donation at Click Here

As an incentive, the prize for finishing in the top 3 is a tour around the Rolls Royce factory in Sussex. Whoever pledges the most will accompany Dax and the team on the factory tour.
