DRIVE A FIESTA JUNIOR RACE CAR AT BRANDS HATCH!
If you’re a junior racer that’s going to be 14 soon or is in the age range to compete on circuits as a junior driver as allowed by Motorsport UK, and you’re in karting, short ovals, autograss, rallycross or simply just want to get on track, the Fiesta Junior Championship can help you do that!
On Saturday, July 27th 2019 the Fiesta Junior Championship will be competing at Brands Hatch on the Indy circuit as we begin the second half of the season – however, it won’t just be our regular race drivers that will be on track over the weekend, as you – yes, YOU – could get on track on the same timetable!
Saturday will see the championship hold its very first Sampler Sessions amongst Saturday’s track activity, where potential future racing stars will have to chance to climb aboard a Fiesta Junior race car and get out on track for a handful for laps at the wheel. Alongside this, we will be providing simulator sessions, car familiarisation and an insight into effective sponsorship and branding from Jess Shanahan of Racing Mentor. Plus, former Fiesta Junior alumni will also be on hand to talk to our prospective racers, with Jack Mitchell (2018 British GT GT4 champion), Lewis Kent (TCR UK racer), Josh Steed and Danny Harrison (both Ginetta GT5 racers) all due to be in attendance.
Plus, if that wasn’t enough, we’ll also be including tickets to the TCR UK/TCT Race Weekend itself with the chance to tour the paddock, meet the teams and drivers and watch the all-important qualifying session in the afternoon. The BRSCC will also be providing lunch in one of their hospitality suites and there’s also set to be a paddock barbecue in the evening, giving you plenty of opportunity to gain a feel for the championship and what it offers.
So, what’s the cost for all of this in one day? Simple – just £250! Now that’s a bargain!
