ENTRIES OPEN FOR BRSCC TROPHY RACES AT SILVERSTONE
The 2019 season is just a couple of months away, so we know that everyone is already thinking about getting back in the race car for another year!
That said, all race cars need a shakedown before they begin their charge for the championship, and what better way to do it than with a pre-season all-comers race!
The British Racing & Sports Car Club heads to Silverstone on Saturday, March 16th for the Caterham Motorsport Team Enduro, and before the main event, we will be running a quartet of 15-minute races, two each for the BRSCC Saloon Car Trophy and BRSCC Sports Car Trophy respectively. These will be very similar to the recent Plum Pudding Races at Mallory Park last month, however, this time all cars in both Trophy contests will get a traditional 15-minute qualifying session each in the morning to set the grid for Race 1, with the subsequent result then making up Race 2’s grid.
The entry fee is £250 for each pair of 15-minute races and the meeting is on the National circuit.
Whether it’s shaking off the rust of the off-season, gaining those last crucial signatures to upgrade your licence, putting the first competitive miles on a new car or new components, or simply getting your 2019 campaign underway, these races will be perfect to make sure you’re raring to go.
