The BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship racing with MRF Tyres will officially kick off its 2020 season with a dedicated media day to be held at the Croft Circuit in Yorkshire on Tuesday, July 14th, welcoming both existing competitors registered for this as well as welcoming any interested parties considering the series for 2021 and beyond.

This will be the first opportunity for the new influx of junior drivers that have joined the Fiesta Junior ranks to not only meet each other for the first time, but to also drive together on track. The championship had originally been preparing to begin on the Silverstone International circuit on March 21/22, but the subsequent suspension of all motorsport activities in the UK meant that the start of the season had to be put on hold. As such, the amended calendar for the 2020 Fiesta Junior season now sees the series get underway at Cadwell Park on August 1/2.

The BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship is one of the leading junior circuit racing championships in the UK, the Fiesta Junior Championship caters to young drivers aged 14-17 years old taking their first steps out of karting, junior short oval racing, junior autograss racing or starting their competitive racing career from scratch.

All competitors race in the Ford Fiesta Mk6 ST150 (2004 – 2008), with closely monitored and controlled regulations to ensure an equal playing field to allow both team-based and independent drivers to competed and succeed whilst remaining cost-effective, whilst also providing a car that meets all the FIA junior racing safety requirements.

Attendance of this media day is by appointment only, so if you’re interested in attending or taking part, then be sure to contact championship co-ordinator Laura Payne for more details.
