More positive news from the MX-5 SuperCup camp as we're proud to confirm that Fix Auto UK will be officially partnering with the championship to support and sponsor the internal Masters series for more experienced competing drivers.
Fix Auto is the fastest-growing professional bodyshop network in the UK and is part of a global business of more than 450 bodyshops in nine countries.
Established in 2005, their UK network consists of more than 100 bodyshops who repair more than 150,000 vehicles of all makes and models on behalf of all major insurance companies, large fleets, and retail customers. All of their bodyshops hold the BS10125 standard, which ensures that repairs are carried out to a high standard using correct methods and materials.
Fix Auto UK's bodyshops have won 18 major awards in the past 3 years, and hold reputations as pioneers in new repair technology systems and processes, which enable them to offer industry leading customer service, fast repair times, and reduced costs.
Fix Auto Loughborough (one of the company's bodyshops), sponsored Masters driver Andy Coombs in last year’s SuperCup, and will continue to support him this year (see attached). Following the success of this, Fix Auto UK has chosen to sponsor the entire series, which will see them have the Fix Auto logo on every Masters car in every race. We will be presenting two trophies at the end of each weekend:
Fix Auto Masters Trophy winner – Highest points achieved over a race weekend
Best Improved Fix Auto Masters Trophy winner: The most places gained from qualifying position over all 3 races of the weekend
Tom Hadfield, Head of Marketing at Fix Auto UK said of the deal: “We’re delighted to be able to support the BRSCC Mazda MX5 Supercup championship this year. It’s a hotly contested series fought out at the UK’s leading circuits that attract large crowds, and will be a perfect platform to help further raise our brand’s profile”.
Scott Woodwiss, Media & Marketing Exective of the British Racing & Sports Car Club added: "This is a fantastic development for the SuperCup and one which we're sure will give our more mature competitors further incentive to get on the grid and compete for their own silverware. With this year's grid looking absolutely stellar and a whole raft of top drivers signed up already, Fix Auto UK's support will only help make 2017 the best year for the championship to date. We're thrilled to have them on board."
