GET BEHIND THE WHEEL OF THE NEW BRSCC MAZDA MX-5 MK4 RACE CAR!
New for 2020, the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Mk4 Trophy will debut on race circuits around the country, bringing the latest generation of one of the world’s best small sports cars and the next evolution of BRSCC Mazda MX-5 racing in the paddock. The Mk4 Trophy will initially compete in the BRSCC Clubsport Trophy in 2020 as part of its inaugural season, with dedicated sprint races also due to appear later in the season.
The car, originally built and developed by Paul Sheard Autosport and Richard Breland, features uprated engine, suspension and brake components as well as a 6-speed sequential gearbox and is designed to offer a new challenge to drivers looking to make a step up from the Mazda MX-5 SuperCup or towards a possible career in GT and sports car racing.
If you fancy getting behind the wheel with a view to racing one of these Mk4s in 2020, we will be holding two dedicated test days at Donington Park on February 8th and Silverstone on February 16th. The price to book a place on either test day is £250, which will be limited to anywhere between 6-8 places per day and is reserved for Motorsport UK competition licence holders only.
Any drivers who take part in either of the two test days and go on to race in the MX-5 Mk4 Trophy in 2020 will not only receive a £50 discount on their roll cage from Paul Sheard Autosport, but also a £50 concession from the BRSCC to give you a £100 discount towards your commitment to competing with us this season.
