IT’S A FAMILY AFFAIR AT SILVERSTONE

The spectacular Le Mans Series comes to Silverstone this weekend at a meeting run by the BRSCC HQ and Midlands Centre and it will be a real family affair for BRSCC Vice-President Nigel Mansell OBE.
The ex-F1 champion lines up alongside son Greg in the Team LNT Ginetta that will contest the ‘Prototype’ class of the Autosport 1000Km race. Completing the Team LNT line up is Ginetta boss Lawrence Tomlinson. Running in the same race, but in the Grand Touring GT class, is Leo Mansell who is piloting a Ferrari F430 with Team Modena. The Autosport 1000Km will be run on the 5.140 kilometres of the Grand Prix circuit and in addition to Nigel Mansell features drivers of the calibre of Oliver Panis, Jean-Christophe Bouillion, Christijan Albers and a host of sports car specialists. The three day meeting, which starts today, Friday 11th September, also features support races for the Radical European Masters, Formula Le Mans & Classic Endurance Racing.
