Expanded Multi-Class Endurance Event Set for 15–17 May

The British Racing & Sports Car Club (BRSCC) is delighted to announce the official launch of the 2026 Silverstone 24 Hour Race, which will take place at Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit from 15–17 May 2026.

Building on the success and growing reputation of the Silverstone 24H, the 2026 event will mark a major step forward with a significantly expanded multi-class structure, creating one of the most inclusive and accessible long-distance endurance races in the UK.

C1 Racing Club Remains the Foundation

As in previous editions, C1 Racing Club cars will form the backbone of the event and are expected to once again represent the largest and most competitive class on the grid. Their proven reliability, close racing and strong team participation continue to define the spirit of the Silverstone 24H.

Major Expansion of Eligible Classes

For 2026, the BRSCC is pleased to confirm that several additional categories will be welcomed into the event, reflecting the continued growth of affordable endurance racing across the UK and Europe.

The expanded class structure will include:

  • BRSCC CityCar Cup cars, bringing established club-level sprint machinery into a true endurance environment

  • Ford KA Endurance cars, a proven and popular platform with a strong endurance racing pedigree

  • BMW 116i Endurance cars, introduced following their impressive participation and popularity at the Race of Remembrance

  • European-spec Citroën C1 race cars, further broadening the international appeal and competitiveness of the grid

This expanded eligibility is expected to deliver a diverse, competitive and high-quality multi-class field, reinforcing the Silverstone 24H as a flagship endurance event for cost-controlled race cars.

A Flagship Endurance Weekend

With track action spread across three days, the 2026 Silverstone 24 Hour Race promises to be a major highlight of the UK endurance racing calendar. Teams and drivers can expect a professionally run event that combines the challenge of a full 24-hour race with the unique atmosphere of racing at one of the world’s most iconic circuits.

Full event regulations, class structures, entry criteria and pricing will be announced shortly. The BRSCC expects strong interest across all eligible categories and encourages prospective teams to monitor forthcoming announcements closely.
