PORSCHE CHAMPIONSHIP INCLUDES INVITATION CLASS AND PIT STOP RACE TO DONINGTON FINALE

CATEGORIES:
  • 40-minute two-driver race for all competitors
  • New invitational class for Boxsters
  • Reduced entry fee for final rounds

There is an opportunity for Boxster drivers to race in the final round of the BRSCC Porsche Championship at Donington on 19/20 October even if their cars don’t comply with the regulations.

The meeting will include an Invitation class to run alongside the regular cars, which is designed for Boxsters that don’t fit the technical regulations but whose specification is broadly similar.

The final round will also feature reduced entry costs for all classes, including the Classic 924s, to encourage as many Porsche racers as possible.

There will be a  20 minutes Qualifying session, 20-minute single driver race, and a 40 minute 1 or 2 driver race that includes a mandatory pit stop for a fully inclusive  £435 per car.

Championship Coordinator John Broadley commented:
“ We want to encourage as many  Boxster drivers as possible to race with us at Donington so that they can see what a great championship we offer. The Invitation class is suitable for both Modified and Production spec  cars and we are hoping to attract racers from other series whose seasons have ended by October.

Reduced entry fees mean that we are offering exceptional value which extends to offering drivers the chance to share costs in the 2 driver 40-minute race.”
