RACEPARTS TO SPONSOR 2020 BRSCC FORMULA FORD FESTIVAL HISTORIC FINAL

Ahead of this weekend’s BRSCC Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch, the club is pleased to announce that Raceparts will once again be supporting the event as a sponsor.

Raceparts will sponsor the Festival for the third year in succession, this year putting their name to the Historic Final set to be run on Sunday afternoon. The Historic Final will run for all cars that will contest the weekend that fit into any one of the four Super Classic classes and as they did in 2019, Raceparts will also be putting up a prize of a £500 voucher which will be awarded to the winner of the Historic Final race.

Raceparts was founded by Peter Bloore and has been manufacturing and supplying proven, top quality products to all forms of motorsport and motor racing worldwide since 1970. Raceparts is the first, and original, one-stop warehouse for all motorsport spares and equipment. It is based in Wallingford, South Oxfordshire in the heart of the UK’s motorsport valley and also now has a warehouse and sales office in Atlanta, Georgia, USA (www.race-parts.com). Raceparts prides itself on its friendly, personal, efficient and helpful service. All of Raceparts staff are motorsport enthusiasts and most have first hand experience as a driver, mechanic or running teams. Their Racetech range of products is designed and developed by an associate company (Racetech Design Ltd – www.racetechdesign.com). These products are supplied as original equipment to almost all racing car constructors.

James Bloore, Managing Director of Raceparts, said: “Raceparts is pleased once again to be part of the BRSCC Formula Ford Festival. Formula Fords have been such a mainstay of UK motorsport for so long now it’s always wonderful to be involved. Formula Ford, and the Festival itself, is one of those touchstone categories that everyone in motorsport at any level has been involved in at some point during their career making it great fun to be involved with. Raceparts has been involved in all types of Formula Ford categories since its inception and have seen many changes in that time, so it’s wonderful to be involved in the Historic Formula Ford Final and see many of those cars still competing and being enjoyed.”

Paul McErlean, Chief Operating Officer of the BRSCC added “Raceparts have been a valuable supporter of the Formula Ford Festival since 2018 and we’re delighted that they have agreed to continue their support into the 2020 edition. We’re also thrilled that they have decided once again to award a prize, this time for the winner of our hugely competitive Historic Final. We greatly appreciate the continued patronage that Matthew, James and everyone at Raceparts have shown us once more. We look forward to welcoming them back to Brands Hatch this weekend.”

You can catch all of the action from this weekend’s 49th BRSCC Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch live and as it happens on the dedicated live stream coverage on Facebook and YouTube across both days, showcasing every single race on the timetable from start to finish.
