Both the BRSCC East Anglian and North Western Centres are in action this weekend organising meetings at Snetterton & Anglesey respectively.

Up in the North West, the Funcup heads to the Ty Croes circuit tomorrow for an exclusive 6 hour marathon. It will be the Centre’s fourth visit of the season to the picturesque coastal track and they still have one more next month. There is a healthy entry of 25 of the ‘Beetle’ look-a-likes involving 70 plus drivers.

Meanwhile, over in Norfolk the East Anglian Centre has their first event since May with a two day joint meeting with Britcar. The Britcar Production series starts Saturday’s proceedings with a 2 hour race in the morning, then the afternoon is dominated by the Britcar GT’s who warm up for the Silverstone ‘500’ in October with a 4 hour race. Sandwiched in between is a 20 minute race for the Competition Car Insurance Ford Fiesta Championship, who have yet again turned out in force with 32 cars lining up on the grid.

The Fiestas feature again on Sunday in a 6 race line up, which also includes a double header for the BRSCC Formula 3 Cardinus Championship and rounds of the Sports 2000 Duratec, Pintos & Historics. The meeting finishes on Sunday afternoon with a 1 hour Sports 2000 endurance race.
