Statement: Amended 2021 British F4 calendar

CATEGORIES:

An amended calendar has been unveiled for the 2021 F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost season.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the decision has been taken to move the start of the season to Thruxton, Hampshire, on 08-09 May.

Snetterton will then host the second event one week later on 15-16 May, before the series heads to Brands Hatch’s Indy circuit on 12-13 June.

After a seven-week summer break, the series then resumes at the picturesque Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire on 31 July – 01 August, before the annual visit to Knockhill, Scotland a fortnight later.

A repeat visit to Thruxton kicks off the second half of the campaign on 28-29 August, before a double header at Croft and Silverstone in mid and late September respectively.

The season concludes with events at Donington Park and Brands Hatch’s iconic GP circuit in October.

Despite the delay, the series will still be contested over a full 10-event, 30-race calendar on the British Touring Car Championship support package with live, free-to-air coverage on ITV4.
