The Production GTi organisers have announced that Teekay Couplings will again be the support partner for the Championship next season.

After a successful two-year affiliation with Teekay Couplings, the partnership has been renewed well in advance of the 2014 season. Commenting on the early announcement, Production GTi Co-ordinator Rob Sadler said, “I am delighted to be working with Teekay Couplings again for the 2014 season and to receive support confirmation so far in advance of the end of the 2013 season reflects both the status and stability of the Production GTi Championship. Grids have continued to grow throughout the season and new drivers continue to sign up. We have a unique product for drivers who want to race the classic VW Golf GTi mk2, whereby competitive racing is guaranteed within a fun, friendly and sociable environment. Club level motorsport needs support from companies such as Teekay Couplings and it is great to see Teekay benefitting from the additional exposure of their products and services.”

Teekay Couplings Director, Ian Webb, is one of the newest recruits to the championship having competed for the first time at Brands Hatch and he is equally enthusiastic about the tie-up,“I am very pleased to confirm our support partnership with the Production GTi Championship for 2014. For a UK manufacturing company it is important for us to create and maintain awareness of our brand and products. Production GTi is the perfect platform for this. The 2013 calendar has been excellent and continues to bring us nationwide coverage as well as TV and media exposure.”
