Although the weather could best be described as ‘inclement’ there was no dampening of the spirit at the first Fiesta Junior testing session of the season at Silverstone on Monday.
The exclusive session for all junior formulae was very well attended by FJC drivers new and old! Nathan Edwards and Aaron Thompson can now be classed as veterans, while Alex Tait, Connor Grady, Cameron Pugh and Elliot Wilson all made their debuts at the backend of last season.
FJC co-ordinator Julieann Bates kept a watchful eye over newcomers Carlito Miracco, Ronan Quinn and Sikandar Hussain, who also took the opportunity to get some valuable track-time during the half-term break. The trio are all set to make their FJC bows in 2015.
Former BTCC star Paul O’Neill was also in attendance to pass on some tips to the FJC drivers so it proved to be a very worthwhile day, despite the incessant rain!
The FJC family will return to the Silverstone National circuit for the season opener on the 4/5th April.
