Every year, (with the exception of COVID-affected seasons), the Intelligent Money British GT Championship typically heads into continental Europe for an international round. In past years, it’s usually been a visit to Belgium, but for 2023 there’s a new challenge – the Autodromo Internacional Algarve in Portimao, Portugal!
This will be the first time that British GT has visited an Iberian circuit and it’s sure to provide a very unique challenge. A modern venue with a mix of long straights, vast elevation changes and a wicked variety of corners, there’s just no telling which cars will suit this circuit best. What is for sure is that whatever’s in store, there’s plenty of excitement ahead of British’s GT first sojourn to Portimao!
