BRSCC 2025 ANGLESEY SUMMER RACE WEEKEND

7 June 2025 - 8 June 2025

The BRSCC returns to Anglesey Circuit for a packed Summer Race Weekend in 2025, bringing a diverse blend of championships to one of the UK’s most scenic venues. With its dramatic coastal views and flowing layout, Anglesey provides a spectacular backdrop for a mix of endurance, single-seater, saloon, and city car racing. Across two days of competition, fans will be treated to close battles, developing talent, and a wide range of machinery that showcases the depth of British club motorsport.

The Fun Cup Endurance Championship brings its unique brand of team-based endurance racing to Anglesey, with long-format contests that demand consistency, strategy, and teamwork. The grid of identical spec endurance race cars may look playful, but the racing is anything but—expect high-speed slipstreaming, constant position changes, and no shortage of drama all the way to the chequered flag. Two races will take place on the Coastal layout this weekend – one in the afternoon, and one racing into the evening, making for an unique spectacle on Saturday night!

The BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship gives a platform to the next generation of racing talent, with drivers aged 14 to 17 going head-to-head in a one-make series that’s become a leading step on the motorsport ladder. Every race is a chance for young drivers to showcase their skill and determination, with Anglesey’s mix of fast corners and tight hairpins offering a real test of confidence and control.

The AIRTEC Motorsport Fiesta ST240 Championship continues its evolution as one of the BRSCC’s premier tin-top series. These turbocharged Mk7 Ford Fiestas deliver serious pace and tight competition, with a mix of experienced racers and hungry newcomers looking to make their mark. Anglesey’s technical demands reward precision and commitment – expect action across the field.

Completing the trifecta of Fiesta contests competing at Anglesey this weekend, the Vinyl Detail Fiesta ST150 Challenge adds an extra layer to the saloon car story. These naturally aspirated machines offer a different driving style but no less excitement, with drivers pushing hard to extract every ounce of performance. The ST150s typically provide the kind of door-to-door tin-top racing that club motorsport fans thrive on, so expect more of the same here in Wales.

The Nankang Tyre CityCar Cup brings cost-effective, close-quarters racing to the fore with its grid of tightly controlled 1.0-litre hatchbacks. These little cars always punch above their weight in terms of entertainment, and with the added intrigue of the Student Motorsport competition – where college and university teams compete alongside independent entries – the stakes are even higher. It’s an ideal proving ground for new drivers and engineers alike, and the level of competition continues to rise with every round.

Classic Formula Ford action comes courtesy of the Geoff Page Engineering Super Classic Pre ’99 Formula Ford Championship. These iconic single-seaters produce raw, mechanical racing that’s as pure as it gets. With no downforce and a focus on driver driver skill to get the most out of the chassis, Anglesey’s elevation changes and fast corners suit these machines perfectly. Expect to see experienced hands and passionate enthusiasts giving it everything on track.

Rounding out the weekend, the 500 Owners Association brings a wonderful slice of racing history to life with its pre-1961 500cc Formula 3 cars. Compact, nimble, and delightfully analogue, these cars were the proving ground for many of Britain’s greatest racing names. Watching them dance through Anglesey’s curves is a reminder of the sport’s roots and a real treat for historic racing fans.

With variety, quality, and great racing guaranteed, Anglesey’s Summer Race Weekend promises another unforgettable showcase of BRSCC club motorsport.
