About the Volkswagen Audi Racing Championship

For 2026 and beyond, the VW Audi Racing Championship will see Audi TT Cup cars and drivers joining forces with the popular Classic VW Club community, as well as an Open Class for other VAG racing machinery, to provide the best mixed class VAG racing championship in the UK.

Whilst the official 2026 Sporting and Technical Regulations, will confirm the finalised class structures, racing formats and championship scoring, the following shows an overview of what to expect.

Class 1:

Audi TT Cup – Cars complying with Audi TT Cup Racing Regulations.

Class 2:

Classic VW Cup – Cars complying with CVWC membership terms and regulations, and competing in Production / Classic / Modified sub-classes.

Class 3:

Open class – VAG race cars which are not compliant with regulations of Classes 1 or 2, and which will be categorised by the following provisional power to weight categories.

  • A: 281 – 330 bhp/tonne
  • B: 231 – 280 bhp/tonne
  • C: 181 – 230 bhp/tonne
  • D: 131 – 180 bhp/tonne
  • E: Up to 130 bhp/tonne

(Open class bhp/tonne segmentations may be subject to change ahead of publication of regulations)

The BRSCC is confident that the 2026 VW Audi Racing Championship will provide owners of all VAG racing machinery a great opportunity to compete with like-minded fellow racers within an exciting and well-structured mixed-grid platform.

2026 Sporting and Technical Regulations will be shared in due course, and in the meantime, if you are interested in getting involved, please use the Contact From at the bottom of this page to get in touch with any questions.
