Cadwell Park Circuit
BRSCC 2025 CADWELL PARK SUMMER RACE WEEKEND
9 August 2025 - 10 August 2025
The BRSCC 2025 Cadwell Park Summer Race Weekend is set to bring adrenaline-fueled action to one of the UK’s most iconic and technically demanding circuits. Dubbed the “mini Nürburgring” for its narrow, undulating layout, Cadwell Park is a track that rewards precision, bravery, and raw driver skill. With a stacked schedule of championships and guest series on track, this weekend promises two days of relentless racing action in one of the most picturesque motorsport settings in the country.
Leading the charge are the BRSCC’s flagship Mazda MX-5 Championships, with all three of its headline series in attendance. The GAZ Shocks Mazda MX-5 Championship, Downforce Radio Mazda MX-5 Clubman Championship, and Clapham North MOT Mazda MX-5 SuperCup each bring their unique brand of close-quarters, one-make racing to the tight and twisty confines of Cadwell Park. The narrow track width and limited overtaking spots will put a premium on racecraft, so expect fearless side-by-side battles, bold lunges into braking zones, and nail-biting finishes.
The Vinyl Detail Fiesta ST150 Challenge makes its way to Cadwell Park for its fifth event of the 2025 season, bringing its signature brand of fiercely competitive one-make racing. Known for their evenly matched, naturally aspirated machines, the Fiesta ST150 drivers will face a unique challenge on Cadwell Park’s narrow, undulating layout. With the championship battle reaching a pivotal stage, expect every driver to push their car and themselves to the absolute limit in the pursuit of vital points.
The Fix A Wheel Production Cup returns for its fifth event of 2025, once again featuring the Silverlake DS3 Cup as part of the action. The mix of small hatchbacks and production saloons creates a dynamic and unpredictable race every time they hit the track. With compact cars like the DS3 weaving their way through the larger saloons, the battle for position will be fierce with multiple classes on track.
One of the weekend’s standout spectacles will be the combined grid of the Hickford Construction MG Metro Cup and Ricci Concept Classic VW Cup, competing together for the fourth time in 2025. With two very different series sharing the same track, the grid will be packed with classic MG Metros and iconic VWs like Golfs, Sciroccos and other VAG Group machines. Cadwell Park’s narrow, twisty layout is perfectly suited to these lightweight cars, which thrive on agility and handling.
Bringing more variety to the weekend is the Modified Ford Series, a fan-favorite series that showcases the best of Ford’s motorsport legacy. From legendary Escorts and Sierras to modern Focus STs and RS models, the Modified Ford Series offers a feast of power, sound, and spectacle. With no two cars the same, it’s a visual treat for motorsport enthusiasts with the powerful Fords roaring their way through the undulating circuit.
Another key feature of the weekend is the return of the MG Cockshoot Cup for its third event of 2025. This classic championship, featuring a mix of modern MGs like ZRs and MGFs alongside older classics like MGBs, offers a blend of retro style and raw racing intensity. This great mix of MG machinery is certain to add a unique flavour to this weekend’s on-track activity.
Adding even more spectacle to the event is the return of the Northern Saloon & Sports Car Championship, run by the Darlington & District Motor Club (DDMC). As a guest series, the Northern Saloons & Sports Cars offer something truly unique, with an eclectic grid of machinery ranging from high-powered sports cars to modified saloons.
