7 June 2025 - 8 June 2025
The BRSCC 2025 Donington Park Summer Race Weekend is set to bring the heat to the iconic Grand Prix circuit, delivering a packed schedule of high-speed action and championship-defining battles. With a diverse range of championships and racing series on the bill, this summer showdown promises a weekend of non-stop entertainment, fierce rivalries, and edge-of-your-seat moments.
At the heart of the weekend is the PBS Brakes SuperSport Endurance Cup, returning for its fourth event of the 2025 season. This multi-class endurance series is a showcase of strategy, speed, and stamina, with driver changes, pit stops, and on-the-fly tactics playing a pivotal role. Teams will be looking to outlast and out-strategize their rivals in one of the toughest tests of the season.
The BRSCC Pro Sports Sprint Series will also be back for its fourth event of the season. Unlike the endurance nature of the SuperSport Cup, the Pro Sports Sprint Series is all about full-throttle racing from lights to flag. With every second counting, there’s no room for caution, and drivers must go flat-out from the start. This fast and furious format is tailor-made for Donington’s flowing, high-speed layout, ensuring plenty of on-track drama.
The fourth event of the 2025 Demon Tweeks Audi TT Cup Racing Championship also takes to the Grand Prix circuit, bringing its signature brand of one-make, high-stakes racing. With every car on the grid built to identical specifications, driver skill becomes the key to success. This produces ultra-close racing, where tenths of a second can separate the front-runners.
Multi-class racing fans will be treated to the return of the SW Motorsports ClubSport Trophy, where cars of different sizes, speeds, and specifications share the same track. From agile hatchbacks to more powerful saloons, this championship is a fan favorite for its variety and unpredictability. With drivers competing for both overall position and class honors, every battle counts. Donington’s famous braking zones at Redgate and Melbourne are guaranteed to produce thrilling overtakes as drivers make daring moves to climb the order.
Fans of Mazda MX-5 racing will be in for a treat, with all three of BRSCC’s flagship MX-5 championships in action. The GAZ Shocks Mazda MX-5 Championship, Downforce Radio Mazda MX-5 Clubman Championship, and Clapham North MOT Mazda MX-5 SuperCup will each bring their unique flavor of close-quarters racing to Donington.
From rookie racers to experienced veterans, these championships guarantee ultra-close battles, last-lap duels, and breathtaking moments. Whether it’s the large, bustling grids of the MX-5 Championship, the developing talents of the MX-5 Clubman Championship, or the faster, more powerful machines of the MX-5 SuperCup, every lap will be a thriller.
The Fix A Wheel Production Cup also returns for its third event of 2025, bringing a mix of production-based hatchbacks and saloons to the grid. With the addition of the new Silverlake DS3 Cup as part of the format, this series has quickly become one of the most unpredictable and exciting additions to the BRSCC calendar.
The Nankang Tyre BMW Compact Cup, one of the most beloved and hard-fought one-make championships on the UK racing scene, is back for its third event of the year. These rear-wheel-drive BMW E36 Compacts may be identical in spec, but on track, it’s a fierce battle of skill and determination. Known for close grids and fearless overtakes, the BMW Compact Cup never fails to deliver edge-of-your-seat action.
Adding even more BMW flavor to the weekend is the BRSCC BMW 1 Series SuperCup. Featuring more powerful, modern machinery compared to the Compact Cup, the SuperCup raises the stakes with faster cars, closer racing, and even more drama. This series is still finding its feet in 2025, but the competitive nature of the drivers on the grid ensures that no position is given up without a fight.
With no less than 10 championships and series on the billing, the BRSCC 2025 Donington Park Summer Race Weekend promises to be a motorsport spectacle for fans of all kinds. From fast-paced sprint races to strategic endurance battles, the weekend delivers every form of racing action imaginable. With bumper grids, diverse cars, and unpredictable finishes, this is a weekend of racing you won’t want to miss.
