Snetterton 300 Circuit
BRSCC 2025 SNETTERTON SPRING RACE WEEKEND
5 April 2025 - 6 April 2025
The BRSCC 2025 Snetterton Spring Race Weekend is set to bring the heat to Norfolk’s iconic Snetterton 300 circuit, with a thrilling mix of door-to-door racing, high-speed sprints, and bumper-to-bumper battles. As the first chance for many championships to hit the track in 2025, the stakes will be high as drivers jostle to make a statement in their season openers.
Headlining the weekend is the highly anticipated season opener for the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship. As one of the key proving grounds for young drivers aged 14-17, the championship has launched the careers of numerous future stars. With a fresh batch of young talent on the grid for 2025, the racing promises to be as fearless and ferocious as ever. These young guns have everything to prove, and with Snetterton’s mix of fast straights and slow hairpins, expect plenty of overtaking, defensive driving, and dramatic battles for position.
The AIRTEC Motorsport Fiesta ST240 Championship also gets its 2025 campaign underway, featuring the most powerful and aggressive Fiestas on the BRSCC grid. These turbocharged machines are built for speed, and with a field packed with experienced racers and ambitious challengers, the battles are guaranteed to be fierce. The 240bhp STs are fast, loud, and unapologetically competitive, and on Snetterton’s long straights, you can expect high-speed drag races and photo-finish moments.
Sharing the Fiesta spotlight is the return of the Vinyl Detail Fiesta ST150 Challenge, where the popular naturally aspirated ST150s take to the track. While they may have less power than their ST240 counterparts, the action is no less intense. Close-quarters racing and bumper-to-bumper battles are par for the course, with drivers relying on racecraft, precision, and bold overtakes to get the job done. The 2025 season opener at Snetterton is set to deliver more of the classic, hard-fought racing that Fiesta fans know and love.
Another crowd favorite returning for its first round of 2025 is the Nankang Tyre CityCar Cup Championship. Known for its enormous grids and close-packed racing, the CityCar Cup features compact hatchbacks that may look small but pack a serious punch on track. The result? Three- and four-wide moments, slipstream battles, and wheel-to-wheel action that often produces dramatic finishes. If you like your racing unpredictable and ultra-competitive, the CityCar Cup will be one to watch.
Stepping up the intensity is the Nankang Tyre BMW Compact Cup, one of the most popular single-make championships in British club motorsport. These nimble, rear-wheel-drive BMW E36 Compacts are perfect for close-quarters racing, and with the long straights and tight corners of Snetterton 300, every driver will be looking for any opportunity to pass. Expect fast, fearless overtakes and some of the most determined defensive driving of the weekend as drivers battle to get their season off to the perfect start.
The BRSCC BMW 1 Series SuperCup is ready for its first true full season of racing, adding a fresh twist to the BMW racing scene. More powerful, more advanced, and faster than the Compact Cup machines, the BMW 1 Series SuperCup promises higher speeds and bigger thrills. As this new championship makes its first start of the year, drivers will be looking to leave a lasting impression. With a grid packed with hungry racers, expect plenty of aggressive moves and bold strategy calls as the series establishes itself as one of the standout features of the weekend.
For those who love their cars fast, loud, and jaw-droppingly aggressive, the Modified Ford Series is set to steal the show. From classic Escorts and Sierras to modern Focus STs and everything in between, the Modified Ford Series is a celebration of performance and power. With no two cars looking the same, this championship delivers a visual and visceral spectacle. Watch for roaring engines, wild paint schemes, and big power moves on Snetterton’s long straights as drivers push their custom-built machines to the absolute limit.
This weekend, our paddock also receives a visit from the legendary Mini 7 Racing Club, which brings both Mini Se7ens and Mini Miglias to the party. These iconic race-prepped Minis may be small, but the action is anything but. The Se7ens offer ultra-close, slipstreaming battles where drafting and teamwork often come into play, while the faster Miglias bring outright pace and razor-sharp reactions into the mix. It’s classic Mini racing at its best, and with two championships on one grid, fans are guaranteed non-stop action.
Adding to the spectacle are two exciting guest series — the Snetterton Saloons and the CMMC Super Saloons & Tin Tops. The Snetterton Saloons series showcases a variety of saloon and touring cars from a range of eras and specs, creating a thrilling mixed-class battle. Meanwhile, the CMMC Super Saloons & Tin Tops deliver a wild combination of high-powered saloons and lightweight hatchbacks all fighting for supremacy. With cars as varied as high-horsepower beasts and nimble track weapons, the racing will be unpredictable, dramatic, and full of on-track fireworks.
