About the RICCI CONCEPT CLASSIC VW CUP

For the 2026 season, the Ricci Concept Classic VW Cup will race within its own points scoring class inside the BRSCC’s new VW Audi Racing Championship. This is a great move for all CVWC drivers and will ensure packed grids of top quality VAG race cars every weekend.

The Ricci Concept Classic VW Cup caters for 1965 to current day Volkswagen Audi Group models, and enables them to race together within a defined class structure.

Ricci Concept Classic VW Cup racers benefit from an exciting racing platform to showcase the series, and by working together with the BRSCC the CVWC community can ensure that membership and participation grows and develops further.

2026 CVWC Class Structure:

Based on BHP per Tonne, BHP figures will be calculated at the flywheel and weight calculated by weighing the whole car including all consumables, fluids, driver and full race kit (post-session).

Modified Class

Vehicles with a manufacture year of 1965 to current. Vehicles fitted with a Turbo may be of up to 270 bhp/tonne, and naturally aspirated vehicles may be of up to 300 bhp/tonne.

Production Class

Vehicles with a manufacture year of 2000 to current. Vehicles fitted with a Turbo may be of up to 220 bhp/tonne, and naturally aspirated vehicles may be of up to 250 bhp/tonne. Vehicles fitted with a Turbo may be of up to 200 bhp/tonne, and naturally aspirated vehicles may be of up to 220 bhp/tonne.

Classic Class

Vehicles with a manufacture year of 1965 to 2000. Vehicles fitted with a Turbo may be of up to 220 bhp/tonne, and naturally aspirated vehicles may be of up to 250 bhp/tonne.
